Another "Carpe Diem" Day in La Jolla

Anyone who knows me well, knows I always have one ear tuned in on the latest weather.  The instant I hear about high surf advisories, I have the urge to run (drive actually) to the beach and see for myself!  After work, I picked up my niece Kiana and we headed to La Jolla Cove. One of my all time favorite places to shoot photo sessions or just go and watch the Sunset!  Here's a few photos of the waves and some body surfers that were enjoying the waves too. I'm usually the one taking the pictures, but Kiana snuck a few photos of me taking photos without me knowing.  I think there's another up and coming photographer in the family!  Here's a few of my favs....
