On May 6, I was leaving work at RCP in Lemon Grove and heard that there were kittens born and abandoned in the sales yard. I immediately went to check things out! Needless to say I was quickly on my way to Pets Mart to get kitten formula for 3 newborn kittens! Sadly one didn't make it past the evening and the second died on May 8. The first 2 had severe health issues, but the 3rd who was named "Simba" by the girls I work with is very healthy and growing quickly! His eyes are finally starting to open today. What a little trooper! Of course that weekend happened to be one of the busiest ever with 2 Photo Sessions scheduled, one in Laguna Beach with Armando and Shushan and the next on Sunday morning with Cesar and Nayad at La Jolla Cove. A big thanks to both couples who were very helpful and accomodating being that I was a bit distracted taking care of this little bundle of joy! Almost 2 weeks old now and he tips the scales at 7ozs!

Montage Resort" in Laguna Beach to take their engagement photos. This is also where Armando proposed to his beautiful fiancee Shushan! It was definitely a beautiful venue for this special occasion!
The following day on Sunday, Simba and I met with Cesar and Nayad for their photo session at La Jolla Cove. Cesar is an amazing
photographer and Nayad has her own graphics company
Ink Design, a talented couple and also a great couple to photograph!! It was another beautiful day!

I am so happy to hear that one of the little kittens is doing good! Pam you are so sweet for taking him in! I love hearing all of your animal rescue stories!!! :) And these sessions are amazing! Both couples are so beautiful, I love the location and everything you did! Amazing job my friend!
ReplyDeleteWe were so happy to meet Simba! We had a wonderful time with you Pam. You are an amazing photograper. We felt free, comfortable, relaxed and had so much fun. Before you came Cesar was grunting about having to get his photos taken with me AND matching clothes! He doesnt like any of that. When we came home he said he never thought he'd have so much fun, loved the photos, the memories, the feeling and the whole experience.
