The Ever Elusive Tiger!

Two of my All Time Favorite places here in San Diego just has to be the San Diego Zoo and the Wild Animal Park.  Ever since I can remember I have lived and breathed all creatures great and small!  I have raised more little feathered and fluffy babies, from a baby hummingbird, countless sparrows, a couple of Starlings (one of which I still have for 16 years now) to a few piglets, puppies and kittens and even baby mice!  Call me a bit nuts, but I couldn't dream of ever letting any one of these precious creatures down by saying call somebody else, I'm too busy right now...  So a few of my past nicknames seems fitting: Florence Nightingale and Dr. Doolittle...

So what does all of this have to do with the elusive Tiger?  Not a whole lot!  But in all of my treks to the Zoo and Wild Animal Park the Tigers have been the trickiest of them all to get a shot or two that make me say "Wow"!  I took another chance this week before I went to work to see if I could get some more cute pics of Yun Zi the baby panda.  Here is what he was doing when I got there.....  he was blissfully asleep and didn't budge a toenail!!

So NOW what do I do??  I refocus my plan and head to Tiger Trail!  And I finally got my WOW shots!!

It's not easy to get many photos without chainlink fences and the like, but it's all in the angle!

Does "Shrek" come to mind when you see this next one?  Bai Yun was happily munching away on Bamboo....

This next one reminds me of "The Dead Terrorist" hiding in a monkey suit!  You can almost hear him say "I Keeel You!"  Jeff Dunham is a real funny comedian!

Anything cuter than this ball of fluff??

I think Green is my favorite color because of scenes like this one!!
OK.....more Bamboo!

Hope you enjoyed the San Diego Zoo!  My next trek??  Wild Animal Park!!  Come back soon!
Feel free to make a comment or two...any special requests from anyone??
